Subject: What is wrong in geometry?part3
(1)In coordinate plane coordinate geometry different LOCATIONS of
'point' are specified by different values of a pair of variables X and
Y. In geometry
'points' are countable singularities. (2) Slope(Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1) or TanA
is a
'point function' or description of the point, described by a number.
Slopes or
different values of TanA also are 'countable singularities'. (3)A
point without
a specified slope makes no sense in plane coordinate geometry.
(4)Therefore if and only if slope is constant at every point along a
line we can call the line as a straight line. But no expression can
guarantee this condition. (5) Y=mX+C
is not a continuous line; it is porous or discontinuous. (6)Coordinate
geometry gives wrong impression that the coordinates X and Y of a
point on a line and the 'slope' or Tangent (dY/dX) at that point are
'connected'. We find
that coordinates of a point and the 'slope' at that point are
independent
variables. (7) It means no symbolic/numerical expression can describe,
how a
point from its own location can know the location of the points that
are
immediately next to it. (8)In geometry the 'point' does not move along
the line
(path) the different values of coordinates 'trace'. It means no
expression or
formula can describe motion. (9)If the RELATION between two things
(say X and Y)
in mind is a continuous variable then the 'things' are so
'synthesized' that
no expression can describe the relationship between them because the
'things'
themselves undergo internal change.
I think all these facts do have some connection with 'dynamics'.
I am not speaking on behalf of any religion or nation. May the noble
minded
scholars instead of cherishing illwill kindly correct any error here
committed through dullness of my intellect. I am the examinee you you
are the examiner, the credit for my passing or failing goes to the
examiner.
