Today, I saw a guy swimming the butterfly without using his legs. This must take extreme effort! I saw a woman swimming freestyle and breathing only when both arms were in the water. As I swim at the local 24 Hour Fitness, I notice many people who have not mastered the art of breathing and swimming at the same time. Hi, What does one entrance to your public swimming pool costs to you? I am interessed to know what around the globe does it cost? Here in Belgium you find entrances for 1?50 up to 5?50 (Ghent, 5?50 25m pool and to costly at my opinion, Antwerp Olympic pool = 2?).

So... Yes, you have to wear a speedo if you are on the swim team. Nobody cares if you are embarrassed. Nobody cares what you look like in it. Don't start whining about it here.

What are the best ear plugs?

I am looking for recommendations for ear plugs for use while recreational swimming at the local indoor pool. I sometimes get painful ear infections as a result getting water in my ears and would like to try some ear plugs. Googleing seems to suggest that a lot of plugs are painful, leaky, quickly fall out, uncomfortable to insert and remove, don't fit properly etc... more »
