Is it anything serious?

0. First, take a deep breath and relax!
1. Next, just because a piece of hardware is 6 months old doesn't mean that things can't malfunction or get faulty.
2. Since its just 6 months, the laptop should be covered under warranty and if the HDD fails, you should be able to get it replaced.
3. A few bad sectors doesn't not mean a HDD going bad, however there is an increase in the number of bad sectors. It might be a cause of concern
4. Typically, reallocated sectors can lead to such errors being reported. You might like to read up this https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=498115. That link has enough hints and tips for you to figure out.
