I have win xp home and ibelieve service pack 1. It is the restore disk from
hp that came with the laptop. As far as the error code, it happens so fast
that i do not have time to read it.It just recycles thru start up. Further

sooory, forgot to mention that the same thing happens when I try going in

I have a new (June 2009) Dell Studio 1737 running:
Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2 GHz, 800 MHz;
MS Windows Vista SP1 (original) Home Premium 64-bit edition.
Previous updates to SP2.
All failed updates related to MS Office: KB972581, KB973593, KB973704,
KB973709, KB974234, KB974561.
Other updates are loading.

are you running a 64 bit system?if not then you do not need sev 2
