We are planning a unique learning event at Bangalore for the young
artisans involved in the enable artisan project.

enable artisan project. We were facing problems of survival at
‘kumbham’ and I had to focus my attention there. Also I have not been
able to find a committed person for leading the enable artisan
project.. Now it looks like one person has joined me who could take

Enable Artisan has an inspiring event that has taken place. I have
been constantly approaching people for help and the cause has touched
a little girl so much that she took the initiative to make all the
children in her school aware of the fact and this is the result.

When I thought about the project Enable Artisan I approached many
people for support, and there was one person among the first few who
extended not only financial but their moral support to this cause
which kept the fire going in our heart to keep up the spirit of

One question that keeps cropping up is , do crafts persons wish to continue
in the profession ? The nex gen have higher aspirations.
Haven't practitioners of other traditional callings,like priests, farmers,
book keepers,teachers,alchemists, vaids,minstrels, shepherds, story
tellers,cattle herders, toddy tappers,honey gatherers, wrestlers,acrobats,
