Appreciate it Balachandar.

Organizers, Online CTC Volunteers, can you please take a look at this and
provide your feedback.

Also please compare with (attached) what Tara had set up some time back.
Have not yet seen anyone's feedback on this ;-(

I am currently too busy since last week (my daughter got admitted in the
hospital),

Peter.

Peter,

I've been following the email chains from CTC for the last 2 weeks. I work
as a social interaction designer with TCS. My job is to design/validate new
technologies and Content management systems for better social interaction
patters. Let me come to the point directly.

I looked at the revamped chennaitrekkers.org blogspot site. I personally
feel that there's a lag in the information design as it's a blog and it
can't do justice for our use case. Can I request to have a look at this
http://www.ning.com/ and overview here http://about.ning.com/product.php .
I've been using this service for quite some time and it rocks for group
activities.

You can have a look at the sites that I maintain using Ning.

In pure interest to make CTC do better in coming days...

Subject: orkut, forum, site and general

Hello Peter,

Thank you for the invitation to orkut. But, I am not much of an orkut fan...

Could you check out the working of the forum? How do you find it?

I am having exams 2nd week of Sept and have lot of studying to do. Hence, am
not able to devote time for the site like before. Combining studying with
the extra activity is turning out more difficult than combining work with
extra activities which I was doing earlier.

Almost 80% of the site is done I guess. Taking something from 0 to 80% is
easy. Putting in that extra effort to take it all the way to 100% is where
most of us(mee) struggle. :)

I shall try to get back to it after my exams.
