Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better.

Please use line break for writing long text else it will go to the bottom since we have sidebar as well, so please use "Enter" button to cut the lines ...short. This will help us in making wiki look HUNK

Only mods can do that. I don't have much experience with Google groups but in Yahoo groups, a thread cannot be made sticky cos yahoo groups is just a mailing list.

It can be done on google group. The other group Blogger's Collective have done something like that. I just don't know how.

The About Memeber page is great for anybody outside the group to get an idea about who we are. But i still insist members here to use this thread to post your blog URL as soon as they join the group. This way we would know that a new kid is round the corner without making the effort of visiting the wiki page. It's like saying hello to a new group. Soon as you join.
My concern is a new member and his/her blog URL should come to me as an alert instead of me sitting and thinking let me go and find out who is the latest to join blogalorean (man this is a difficult name).
We should also have another thread for latest blog posts. My concern is i should get some kind of alert but I also don't want RSS feeds of every blog and every post. I am not making myself clear i can get that. May be we can discuss this more on 21st.

Generally when you visit the group's web page here http://groups.google.com/group/blogaloreans you see the group messages are listed in chronological order last one first basis. Having made this thread a sticky thread, this would always always appear as the first thread and then would follow the rest of the messages in usual chronological order.
