Dear all Anushandhitshu,

Yesterday I sent you a solar prominence photo. I calculated the
heights of these prominences. The upper prominence is
about 28 Thousand  8 Hundred 23 km (28823.53) high. And the lower
prominence is about 62 Thousand 1 Hundred 22 km (62122.76) high.

Santo

Hello Santo, So how was it done? Some formal calculation, or just extrapolation? Thanks in advance. Amar.

Thanks amar for your mail. I did it by calculating the image scale.

Hey Santo that's a great work done by just scaling an image..i'm keen on
knowing how exactly it was done. If you can post the procedure in brief, i
think, it would be helpful to others as well.

Thanks(in advance)and Congrats,
sundar
